Sid Bernstein Presents

Sid Bernstein Presents – Online

One of the best things happened to me while I was in New York, was meeting this film maker – Jason Ressler. The documentary “Sid Bernstein Presents …”, directed by him and Evan Strome, is an exploration of the complexity of the American dream through the life of one of the most important figures in modern music history: Sid Bernstein.

Sid Bernstein Presents… is a 110 minute documentary film on the life of the famous music ingénue and civil rights activist who, in addition to bringing the Beatles and The Rolling Stones to America, and organizing the landmark Beatles Shea Stadium concert, also repped James Brown, Tito Puente, The Rascals, Duke Ellington, Ray Charles, Abba, and Quincy Jones, and organized concerts with Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix and Frank Sinatra, among many others.
